to get paid: to receive money for work completed, to receive wages

This is an irregular verb:
I get paid / I got paid / I have gotten paid
- "But more accurately, I'm the winner because I'm getting paid for organizing this."
- "I realise that today is only the 18th, and we usually don't get paid till around the last day of the month, but I'm in trouble."
